Blade Runner: Nightingale
A downloadable game
A ruined city, a riverbank, a dead woman's hand. A Replicant. Then it couldn't have been murder. Or can it?
In 2037 Los Angeles, Blade Runners play the same deadly game by new rules now that megacorporations put special value on the bioengineered beings who are virtually identical to humans.
Join two detectives of the LAPD and their newly assigned, custom built Nexus 9 partner to uncover a web of greed, lust, control and conscience. As they follow the evidence, they'll face the question: mothered or manufactured, who's the one with a soul?
This is Blade Runner: Nightingale, an unofficial, noncommercial, fan-made case file meant to be played with Blade Runner: The Roleplaying Game.
The case file includes:
- A 120-page Game Runner guide to the node-based mystery
- Digital handouts including character portraits, floor plans & a map
- Three premade characters for pick-up-and-play use
- Character-specific contacts, downtime hooks, and side plots
- 28 Voight-Kampff questions to evaluate your humanity
The first of three, Nightingale is a mystery adventure I created and GM'd in 2024 and 2025. Building the case file module was a labor of love so I could share the experience of imaginative invention with my players at the gaming table.
Content advisory: Violence, mature themes, profanity.
